A couple of reviews claim this unit is too loud. Cools quickly and is relatively quiet when compared to other portable models i have purchased previously. I suppose if you ve only ever had central air it might take getting used to but for those who ve grown up with window ac this unit is a dream. 5 0 out of 5 starsliterally looking forward to purchasing more of these.

This is a great unit for an 11x11 room. This was not our experience. The only downsides to the unit are that the led display which shows the temperature does not turn off when you turn the unit off and it is very bright which can be distracting when trying to sleep. The unit is super quiet for this size product but it does not cool the room very well.

It is so quiet you don t think it s running. I turned it to 62 degree the lowest it can get but the air it blows out is only slightly cooler than the room temperature. When outside is 90 degree the cooling is not good. The fan is quieter than a window unit but it s not just the volume of the noise it s the type of noise.

I ve waited until summer was over for us to post this review. Cooled down a 200 square foot room in less than 8 minutes in 90 degree heat. I m over 60 years old and had no trouble installing this window air conditioner into a window that is at eye level. Reviewed in the united states on november 13 2017.
